On October 24, good news came from the Guinea Mamu Tunnel ventilation shaft project, where the AT-2000 Raise borer Machine successfully met the challenges of complex and variable geological strata and widespread fracture zones, smoothly completing the pilot hole operation for the tunnel ventilation shaft, with a drilling depth of 328.77 meters and a deviation rate of 0.6%, far below industry standards. The cutter head has now been connected, and the expansion phase has begun.

Guinea Kindia TunnelAT-4000L Raise borer Machine

In the Kindia Tunnel ventilation shaft project, the AT-4000L Raise borer Machine was used for construction, achieving significant progress. Since the use of this equipment, the #1 ventilation auxiliary shaft with a diameter of 3.5 meters and a depth of 213.5 meters has been successfully completed, and the equipment has maintained good condition during use.

Currently, there are two AT-4000L Raise borer Machines operating on site, respectively conducting the expansion operation of the main shaft #4 and the pilot hole operation of the auxiliary shaft #4. The expansion operation of the main shaft #4 requires a diameter of 3.5 meters and a depth of 425.4 meters, while the pilot hole operation of the auxiliary shaft #4 requires a depth of 425 meters.
