Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Changsha, Hunan Province, China—widely known as a major hub for construction machinery—Hunan Yier Mining Technology Co., Ltd. traces its roots to the former state-owned Hunan Nonferrous Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd.

Building on the technical expertise and engineering experience inherited from its predecessor, Yier Technology combines a strong industrial foundation with the flexibility and innovation of a privately operated enterprise. The company was founded by Mr. Long Guoqiang, a recipient of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Progress Award, who previously led the R&D department at the former state-owned enterprise.

R&D and Manufacturing Capabilities

Yier Technology is located in Jinxia Industrial Park, Kaifu District, Changsha, covering an area of more than 10,000 square meters and with an annual production capacity of 120 units.

The company has achieved several important milestones:

• 2019: Recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise.

• 2021: Received the Excellent Equipment Award from the China Nonferrous Metals Technology Platform.

• 2023: Recognized as a Hunan Provincial Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative “Little Giant” Enterprise.

Yier Technology has also established a Mechanical Rock Breaking Professor Workstation in collaboration with the School of Resources and Safety Engineering at Central South University, undertaking joint research and development projects.
