Shaanxi Northwest Nonferrous Mining has made significant progress in the pilot test of single-pass well-forming technology for medium-deep boreholes. Using Yier Technology's KQG-150 down-the-hole drilling rig, they successfully completed the blasting target of a 2-meter diameter shaft in the first phase. This successful blasting is based on the "Experimental Research on Single-Pass Well and Slot Forming Technology for Medium-Deep Boreholes in Underground Mines." It controls risks and hazards from the source, improves work efficiency, and provides significant support for Shaanxi Northwest Nonferrous Mining in mine safety production management. It also provides a new approach to mine safety production management.

Shaanxi Northwest Nonferrous Mining has made significant progress in the experimental application of the single-pass well-forming technology for medium-deep boreholes, successfully utilizing Yier Technology's KQG-150 down-the-hole drilling rig to complete the blasting target of a 2-meter diameter shaft in the first phase. The KQG-150 down-the-hole drilling rig performed exceptionally well in this blasting operation. Through precise rock drilling parameter control, the equipment completed the construction of 14 blast holes (φ95mm) in one go, and the construction precision fully met the stringent requirements of single-pass well formation. The 0.5% drilling accuracy of the down-the-hole drilling rig effectively ensured the verticality and consistency of the hole positions, providing a reliable foundation for subsequent blasting charging and ultimately achieving high-quality blasting results with complete well walls and uniformly crushed rocks.

Currently, shaft construction is an important part of underground mine construction. Nationwide, the construction of short shafts under 20m still mainly relies on manual excavation. During construction, there are risks such as roof collapse, suffocation, and falls from heights. Furthermore, the labor intensity is high for workers, construction efficiency is low, continuous operation is impossible, management is difficult, and this is not conducive to the safe development of mines. Compared with manual excavation of shafts, the medium-deep borehole single-pass well-forming technology uses top-down full-depth single drilling, with personnel not entering the shaft. Using the KQG-150 down-the-hole drilling rig, all blast holes can be completed within 2-3 days.

By forming shafts through layered or one-time blasting, the construction efficiency of short shafts is increased by 2-4 times. While eliminating safety risks, it greatly reduces labor intensity, providing reliable safety and efficiency guarantees for underground engineering construction.

Currently, the KQG-150 down-the-hole drilling rig has been applied in multiple provinces including Jiangxi, Guangdong, Hebei, Jilin, Anhui, Shandong, and Shaanxi. The ore types involved include tungsten, iron, uranium, and lead-zinc ores, and it is perfectly suitable for thin, medium-thick, and thick ore bodies, perfectly solving the inherent safety issues of mining site rock drilling. By optimizing the original rock drilling parameters and using system integration technology for a low-profile design of the entire machine, this model has features such as a small turning radius, flexible movement, high safety, and a small deviation rate. In the future, Yier Technology will deepen its cooperation with Shaanxi Northwest Nonferrous Mining to expand the medium-deep borehole blasting well-forming technology to long shaft projects, aiming to achieve the safe formation of 50-meter shafts in a single pass. We firmly believe that through continuous technological innovation and practice, we will add weight to the enterprise's safety foundation, build a more solid inherent safety line, and safeguard the sustainable development of mines.
