On July 15, 2024, the Yuxi Feiya Mining Dahongshan Project Department undertook the construction ofDahongshan Copper Mine185 Middle Section B69 LineAir Intake Shaft (φ3.5m, depth 124m), using Yier TechnologyAT-4000L Raise Borer Machine successfully completed.The AT-4000L Raise Borer Machine is capable of constructing a φ4.5m shaft and is currently the first equipment for large-diameter shaft construction within the Yuxi Feiya Mining system.

The geological structure in the project area is quite complex, mainly consisting of iron mud carbonate and surrounding rock debris filling, with strong alteration around the faults, loose and broken rocks, and a wide and steep main fault fracture zone, making construction very difficult.The project department, based on the actual conditions on site and geological data, carefully observed the return slag situation during the guiding hole process, listened to the different sounds emitted by the equipment during operation, and timely assessed and formulated corresponding measures, taking a total of34 days to successfully complete the construction of the shaft.Through this high-depth and geologically complex shaft construction, Yier Technology's after-sales department and the Dahongshan project department have accumulated rich experience in shaft construction and summarized corresponding response measures.

After the completion of the first shaft construction, Yier Technology's technical and after-sales teams held an online summary meeting with the Yuxi Feiya Mining Dahongshan project department to evaluate the construction progress and issues of the first shaft.The Dahongshan project department pointed out: The Raise Borer Machine arrived at the Dahongshan project department onJune 5, 2024, organized acceptance on June 6, equipment entry, installation, and debugging from June 8 to 10, guiding hole penetration on June 22, and after completing the cutter head installation on the night shift of June 26, began reaming operations, completing the reaming on July 15 (124 meters shaft penetration).The diameter of the shaft constructed this time is3.5 meters, with a depth of 124 meters,the guiding hole was completed in totalin 13 days, with an average guiding hole of 9.5 meters/day, and a maximum guiding hole advance of 23 meters/day; the reaming was completed in 20 days, with an average of 6.2 meters/day, and a maximum reaming advance of 9.6 meters/day.

In response to the issues raised in the meeting, Yier Technology actively coordinated adjustments, striving to achieve"Create a few fine products, strive for three years without repairs," to support the high-quality development of the mine.
