With its tailor-made technical solution and stable, efficient operation, the machine won high recognition from overseas customers, demonstrating a dual breakthrough in China’s independent R&D capabilities for mining machinery and equipment as well as its overseas service capacity. Going back to May 2025, an Australian client made a special visit to Yier Technology to carry out the specialized acceptance inspection of the ATM-1000 Raise borer Machine. As a customized product that closely aligns with the customer’s actual needs, this equipment has thoroughly taken into account Australia’s complex geological conditions and mining construction scenarios—from core technology R&D to functional module design—thus achieving a precise match between personalized requirements and practical engineering applications.

Notably, the equipment features a modular, split-design configuration consisting of a main unit and a pump station, which can be conveniently transported to the designated underground chamber using a scraper loader, thereby effectively addressing the industry’s key challenges of limited site space and cumbersome equipment relocation in overseas mining operations. Moreover, the equipment has undergone extensive performance optimization and upgrades. In upward-cutting well operations, it can handle cutting wells with a dip angle of 45° and a depth of 100 meters; in downward-reverse-well operations, it can accommodate reverse-well construction tasks with a dip angle of 60° and a depth of 120 meters, demonstrating exceptional adaptability and robust construction capabilities.

To ensure that the customer’s team masters the equipment operation skills, Yier Technology has established a professional training team to provide systematic, end-to-end hands-on training for Australian customers. The training focuses on the precise application of the equipment’s core functions, with particular emphasis on key modules such as the handling boom operation and drilling parameter settings. By combining theoretical instruction with practical drills, the training helps the customer’s team quickly develop operational understanding and enhance their hands-on capabilities. The successful completion of this acceptance and training not only lays a solid foundation for the overseas deployment of the equipment but also injects strong momentum into Yier Technology’s efforts to deepen international cooperation and expand its presence in the overseas mining machinery market.

In November of the same year, to ensure the smooth commissioning of the equipment at an Australian mine, Yier Technology promptly dispatched technical engineer Zhou Jing to the site to provide on-site construction guidance. During the construction of the 51° inclined shaft, the ATM-1000 Raise borer Machine demonstrated outstanding operational performance and adaptability, strictly following standardized construction procedures: first, a φ280 roller-cone drill bit was used to drill a pilot hole downward, with an efficient water-pumping flushing system ensuring timely removal of cuttings and maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the pilot-hole drilling; after the pilot hole was completed, the drill rod was pulled up to remove the roller-cone bit, which was then replaced with a φ670 cutterhead for downward reaming, ultimately successfully forming a raise that met the project requirements.

The entire construction process was safe and efficient, with excellent well completion quality. Compared with traditional construction methods, it significantly reduced labor intensity, avoided on-site safety risks, and fully demonstrated the comprehensive advantages of mechanized operations using a Raise borer Machine in terms of safety, efficiency, and quality.
