The AT-4000L Raise Borer Machine under Yier Technology has shone in the construction of the tunnel ventilation shaft in Guinea, successfully completing a guiding hole operation of 213 meters with outstanding performance, perfectly aligned with the center of the tunnel and meeting the expected construction requirements. As a surface construction project, the Guinea tunnel uses the Raise Borer Machine to drill guiding holes from the top of the mountain down to the tunnel passage. Once the underground tunnel is connected with the shaft, the drill bit will be removed in the tunnel and replaced with an expansion cutter head to expand the 3.5m shaft connecting to the access passage from bottom to top.

The Guinea tunnel project has now entered the expansion phase, with the 3.5m diameter ventilation shaft expected to be completed next month.
